Job Information:

• Location/Department: Seoul Gangnam-gu, Payhere HQ
• Employment Type: Part-time
• Expected Working Hours: Around 5-7 hours per day (negotiable)
• Posting Period: Until the position is filled (closing upon completion)

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in casual conversations with colleagues and officers on various topics to help polish their English speaking skills and confidence
• Prepare and develop readied topics for discussion without using a textbook
• Coax the flow of conversation including asking pertinent questions, keeping the colleague engaged, and making sensible correction of speech
• Provide training to develop global business communication skills

Qualifications:

• Native English speakers with excellent English communication skills
• Currently residing in Korea with E-2 or F-2 to F-6 visa
• Flexibility to manipulate conversations/lessons to meed the individuals needs and different proficiency levels of colleagues
• Patience, compassion and the desire to build strong relationships with colleagues
• Interested in learning areas of financial technology, software, etc.

Preferred Experiences

• Experience in teaching English as a second language including having regular discussion sessions with very willing but shy individuals
• Interpretation experience
• Ability to communicate verbally in Korean (Beginner/Intermediate level)
• US/Canadian citizens
