We are pleased to inform you of the opening of the Colombia Scholarship Program for Foreign Citizens – 2025/2 Call, launched by the Instituto Colombiano de Crédito Educativo y Estudios Técnicos en el Exterior (ICETEX). This program offers scholarships to non-Colombian nationals who wish to pursue master’s degree programs in Colombia, starting in the second semester of 2025.
The scholarship offers a unique opportunity for foreign professionals to enhance their academic training at leading Colombian universities, while experiencing the country’s rich cultural diversity and academic excellence.

• Financial support for visa procedures and foreigner ID (cédula de extranjería)
Main eligibility criteria:
• Must be a non-Colombian citizen
• Hold an undergraduate degree
• Minimum GPA equivalent to 4.0/5.0
• Must not have resided in Colombia in the six (6) months prior to applying
• Be under the age of 50 at the time of application
